DID YOU KNOW....??
"International Day of Yoga"
June 21st is an annual day to recognize the
importance and benefits of yoga
This idea was proposed by the current Prime Minister of India, during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly on 27 September 2014.
"Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition.
It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being.
Yoga is not about exercise but discovering a sense of oneness with yourself, the world and nature. Changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, can help in well-being.
— Narendra Modi, UN General Assembly
I invite you to challenge yourself.
deepen your awareness;
peel back the layers;
love deeper;
live fuller.
The only experience you need......is to expereince this for yourself!
Yoga is about what you "do and say" off your mat.
Our lives become an unconscious act; often speaking and
moving on auto pilot.
Have you ever been a victim of being stuck in the past?
Do you find your thoughts drifting ahead into the future?
Remind yourself that life is happening in
this very moment. Right here. Right now.... Stay here.
In this ever changing, unstable, beautiful world we all live in;
my wish for you is to use your tools to create an unshakable
Peace & Calm

2010 Maryann discovered yoga at a time of
extreme stress.
She was caring for her out-of-state elderly mother while still maintaining to manage her travel agency business.
Completely alone, Maryann felt as though her mother's life was in her hands, she had become exhausted, depleted, and filled with anxiety.
Maryann found it nearly impossible to take
a deep breath.
And then.... a voice said "do yoga!"
Not knowing exactly what yoga was, Maryann listened to her still, small, inner voice.
The conscious uniting of body movements and breath
literally saved her life....!
2016 Maryann received her training in Rishikesh, India from Master Guru (teacher) Anand Mehrotra.
